Terms & Conditions
Cancellation/Refund Policy (Per Participant)
American Red Cross & American Heart Association Non-Instructor Students
1.) No refund will be issued if you have been issued a certificate/completed training.
2.) No refund will be issued if you cancel within 24 hours of class.
3.) A $15 non-refundable administrative fee will be implemented and incurred by the participant for cancellations received more than 24 hours after booking your session.
4.) A 5% cancellation processing fee from the total amount paid will be incurred by the participant for cancellations within 24 hours of booking enrollment.
After 24 hours of participant's enrollment, above cancellation terms #1 to #3 will be applied to participant accordingly.
Reschedule Policy (Per Participant)
American Red Cross & American Heart Association Non-Instructor Students
$10 Rescheduling Fee
- Fee will be waived on first occurrence with 24 hours advance notice.
- $20 rescheduling fee will be implemented without 24 hours notice.
- $20 rescheduling fee will be implemented for 2nd occurrence and each occurrence thereafter.
Private Group Training Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
1.) A 10% cancellation fee cancelling entire class.
2. A $15 cancellation fee per student if cancelling a student only
2.) A $50 entire class rescheduling fee shall be implemented for less than 72 hours advance notice.
3.) Participants who are unable to attend and would like to reschedule, would need to reschedule via email at info@Herostartcpr.com A code shall be issued to use at herostartcpr.com for booking. However, a $10/student rescheduling fee will be applied for less than 24 hours notice.
Health & Safety Precautions
Masks are welcome but not required. Students who have a fever or display symptoms of COVID-19 or the flu will be required to reschedule. Only registered class participants are allowed in the classroom during training.
Blended Learning
Students participating in a Blended Learning course are advised to complete the online portion before the scheduled in-person session. You may still attend the in-person session if you are unable to complete the online. However, your certificate of completion will not be processed until you have completed the online portion.

Classroom Course
Student must attend entire course, pass skills session, and written test (if required) to receive certification.
Classroom Conduct
Hero Start CPR is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment for all participants. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner throughout the duration of the course. Disruptive behavior, disrespect towards instructor or other students, use of inappropriate language, or failure to follow safety instructions will not be tolerated. The instructor reserves the right to dismiss any participant from the class at any time for inappropriate or disruptive conduct. Students who are dismissed for behavioral reasons will not receive certification and will forfeit all course fees without refund.
Certification
All course certifications are digitally issued and valid for 2 years. Please ensure the spelling of your name is correct during checkout.
